Build an n8n workflow that automatically generates high-quality motivational YouTube Shorts using AI.
The workflow should operate as follows:
Trigger
Use an n8n Chat Trigger to allow the user to input:
Video duration (30–60 seconds)
Motivation theme (discipline, hard work, success, mindset)
Script Generation (AI)
Use an AI text generation node (Claude or GPT) to generate a powerful motivational script in English with the following requirements:
Male, confident, motivational tone
Short, punchy sentences
No emojis, no hashtags
Optimized for YouTube Shorts narration
Text-to-Speech (Male Voice)
Convert the generated script into speech using a high-quality male English voice via a text-to-speech API (such as ElevenLabs or equivalent).
Voice style: deep, confident, inspirational
Output format: MP3
Subtitle Preparation
Automatically split the script into short subtitle segments and generate time-coded subtitles synchronized with the voiceover.
Video Background Selection
Retrieve or generate high-quality vertical (9:16) video footage featuring:
People training, working out, running, or performing intense physical activity
Cinematic, motivational style
Resolution: 1080x1920
Use stock video APIs (such as Pexels or Pixabay) or AI video generation tools if available.
Video Composition
Combine the following into a single final video using FFmpeg or a video rendering service:
Background workout footage
Male voiceover audio
Subtitles displayed at the bottom of the screen
Subtitle styling requirements:
Bold, clean font
White text with subtle black shadow
Smooth fade-in and fade-out animation
Perfect synchronization with the voiceover
Final Output
Export the final video as:
MP4 format
Vertical (9:16)
High quality
Duration under 60 seconds
YouTube Upload (Optional)
Optionally upload the video automatically to YouTube using the YouTube API with:
A motivational title
Short description
#Shorts tag
Confirmation
Return a confirmation message through the Chat node including:
Video title
Duration
Upload status or download link
The workflow should be fully automated, modular, and reusable for daily content generation.
